[The delay in texts gave her time to wash up really quick. She pops out of the bathroom moments later with one of her antennae still plastered wetly to her forehead and waves him over for a greeting kiss.]

So? What do you think up close?

[He pushes the antennae to the side as he kisses her, pulling back to inspect her eyes closely.]

It's a good blue.

The kind you don't see very often...

[she draws back just enough to tap him on the nose. Boop! Then back to kisses.]

Which I do like, seriously! It's all [vague handwave] mysterious.

I think you mean, interesting. [He'll firmly grab onto her, lifting her easily up into his arms.]

Ah yeah, what did I come over here for again? [Lean in, kissing her firmly on the neck, pressing his palm against her waist.]

I don't think it was to get complimented...

[She squeaks in surprise as her feet leave the floor. Clinging onto him with both arms, as well as her leg hooked around him, she presses into the impromptu embrace.]

No, that's just an added bonus.

[He lifts her up a bit, enough so that he can seat them on a nearby (couch? love seat? bed?) where it's easier to kiss her neck and jaw.]

Seriously though, I know it's weird to have your eye color change but...It suits you.

[Couch- an old one that sinks a bit under their combined weight, but it has big comfy cushions. Arlene tips her head back, squirming and giggling ticklishly under his kisses.]

It's better than gray.

[Give her a week and she'll barely notice. She got used to the gray with time, after all.]
