i fell into a bad crowd when i was younger, you know?

There's this little girl, her name is Sakura, she can't be older than, i dont know, fifteen.

And there she is, fucking, on rollerskates picking up groceries that she has to cook, because her older brother works all day. I don't think she has any parents. She's just...doing her best, with the whole world on her back. When you're growing up like that, it's easy to feel alone, overwhelmed...

I want to help kids, give them someone positive that's looking out for them, an adult that they can trust...Someone who can empathize with them and teach them not just about history, but about being the right kind of person.

that's what a good teacher is supposed to do...and I think you'll be able to pull it off with flying colors

I'll talk with the supervisors about getting you transferred into the Youth Programs department

or better yet, both of us can talk with them, really show them that you're serious

YP department will probably help you get the resume experience you need
